Fishing - Woodstock NB style
If fishing isn't exciting enough, just imagine doing tournaments where
competition is tough and you compete for prizes. I must admit there is
nothing that compares to being out on the water during a derby, heading
into the 'weigh-in' with a live well full of nice size fish. However the
same can be said of being on the water derby or not, catching and releasing
to enjoy another day. If you are out pre-fishing or simply experiencing
a fun day on the water, whatever your pleasure get out there, do some
boating and fishing!!
Myself living minutes from the St. John River in Woodstock, New Brunswick, I do my best to get out as often and frequent as possible.
Two Dams within the river system that I fish one called "Beechwood" and another one downstream called "Mactaquac" offer some of the best fishing around for miles as most of us know smallmouth loves Dams and thrives well.
